Abstract Submission Guidelines & Formats


l   Abstracts must be written in English, and limited to one page.

l   The abstract should contain the following information:

­              Author Name

­              Job Title

­              Company Affiliation

­              Contact Information

­              Personal Biography (100 words max)

­              Personal Photo

­              Presentation Title

­              Presentation Description (300 words max)

l   All abstracts should be submitted to each affiliated association first. And then, submitted to the ARAC 2024 organizer by the association.

To be considered, presentation proposals (abstracts) should contain timely applicable, and relevant information on business or technical innovations and advancements. Besides the research methodology should be demonstrated with importance to the adhesive and sealant industries. All presentations should be non-commercial in nature. Use of trade names is not permitted. The topics are suggested to include:

(A)  The Novel Raw Material and Market Trend

1.The novel raw materials could include biobased raw materials, recycled plastic or polymer, natural materials, nano materials, and other innovative combinations of the materials.

2.The market trend will be focused on the new resin, adhesive, coating, or plastic application markets. In particular, the carbon reduction-related issues will be favored.

(B)   Environmental Friendly and Innovative Adhesives

1.Environmental friendly adhesives such as low carbon footprint, low carbon emissions, water-based, energy-curable, solvent-free, zero-VOC, nonpetroleum-based adhesivesetc.

2.Innovative adhesives could include bionic/bio-inspired adhesives, biodegradable adhesives, and recycling methods for adhesives.

(C)   High Performance and Industrial Adhesives

This topic will aim at technologies such as reactive hot melt, easy-to-disassemble, polyolefin-based, self-healing adhesives, etc.
