In order to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between production enterprises, promote technical progress of adhesive and tape industry in China, and push the sustainable, healthy and stable development of the entire industry, China Adhesives and Tape Industry Association (CATIA) will hold the 28th China Adhesive and Tape Annual Conference on September 15-17, 2025 in Shanghai. The conference theme will be “Focusing on Industrial Technological Innovation and Empowering High-Quality Development of the Industry”. Welcome all companies concerned to attend the conference.
I. Main Contents
1. Policy and Latest Market Research Report on Adhesive and Adhesive Tape Industry
The conference will release the latest market analysis report of China’s adhesive and tape industry and elaborate on the industrial upgrading issues that people are concerned about and the high-quality development prospects of the industry. The conference will also specially invite well-known domestic and foreign enterprises or experts to introduce the technology, market, regulations, and sustainable development overview of the global adhesive and tape industry.
2. This conference will have five parallel tracks: "Development and Application of High Performance Adhesives Track, Industry Innovation Technology Research Track, Adhesive Technology and Research for Consumer Electronics Track, PSA and Product Technology and Research Track, and Adhesive Technology and Research for New Energy Vehicles Track". The main contents include the following:
⑴Facing the challenges of the industry, focusing on cutting-edge technological innovation trends in the industrial chain, breakthroughs in high-end application scenarios, efficient resource utilization, and sustainable development paths, promoting the green, intelligent, and high-end development of enterprises.
⑵Releasing new products, new technologies, and new processes, accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into productivity, enhancing the core competitiveness of enterprises, consolidating global competitive advantages, and seizing strategic opportunities during critical periods.
⑶Deeply analyze the current situation and development of hot-spot fields such as automobiles, consumer electronics, new energy, and green packaging, and sharing research directions, technological achievements and management experience.
⑷Facing multiple challenges such as supply chain fluctuations, in-depth analysis of key raw material supply, innovation, application, and market prospects, with a focus on introducing innovative production and application automation supporting equipment.
⑸Driven by the demand for emerging fields such as “Dual Carbon” goals and new energy, reactive polyurethane hot melt adhesive, UV/EB curing, solvent-free, biodegradable adhesive and tape have ushered in development opportunities, and new technologies, projects, and market opportunities are being explored in depth.
⑹Focusing on industry hotspots (structural adhesive for energy storage/power batteries, thermal conductive adhesive, potting adhesive, high-end and functional PSA, tape, label and protective film), enhance products’ added value, develop differentiated products, and accurately analyze emerging markets and domestic substitution needs.
⑺Build an efficient platform for “industry, academia, research and application”, enhance the technological level of adhesive and tape in China, solve bottleneck problems in industry development, and promote sustained, stable and high-quality development of the industry.
3. Product display and information release of leading sponsors and cooperative enterprises.
4.On the afternoon of September 15, the 10th General Assembly of China Adhesives and Tape Industry Association will be held, to carry out the election of new Board of Directors (the notice will be released separately, all members are welcome to attend).
II. Date and Venue
1. Registration: 9:00-22:00 on September 15, 2025.
2. Venue: Jeurong Hotel Shanghai. Address: No.80 Minhong Road, Minhang District, Shanghai, China. Phone: 021-33599999. The hotel is about 16 km away from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, and about 5 km from Shanghainan Railway Station. The conference does not arrange pick-up station/airport service.
3. Conference: September 16-17, 2025 (two days).
III. Fees
1. Accommodations:Jeurong Hotel Shanghai, RMB 780 for single room or twin room per night (breakfast included). Due to the high demand for hotel bookings in Shanghai in September, and upon the request of the hotel, to insure the housing needs of the participants, the accommodation fees shall be collected uniformly by the association. The deadline for reservation and payment is September 5, 2025. Participants who have not paid the accommodation fees before September 5, 2025 will no longer be applicable for the group accommodation price.
2. Conference registration: The registration fee includes admission to all sessions during the 28th China Adhesive and Tape Annual Conference, material fees, all scheduled meals, and coffee breaks.
CATIA Members: RMB 3200 per person; Non-members: RMB 3600 per person
Student/Professor: RMB 2000 per person
(Participants of 3 people or more from non-members can enjoy the member’s price)
3. Publicity of enterprises and products:
Product promotion report: RMB 8,000/30 min (inclusive of one attendee’s conference fee).
Enterprise materials display: RMB 4000.
