In order to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between upstream and downstream enterprises, deepen pragmatic cooperation, share advanced technological achievements in the adhesive and tape industry, accelerate industrial innovation and upgrading, and promote high-quality development of the industry, China Adhesives and Tape Industry Association (CATIA) is determined to organize the 29th Adhesive and Tape Annual Conference on September 2-4, 2026 in Shanghai. The conference theme will be “Converge Industrial Chain Resources for Collaborative Innovation, Lead the High-Quality Development of the Adhesive Industry”. Welcome all companies concerned to attend the conference.
I. Main Contents
1. Market Analysis and Industrial Policy Interpretation of Adhesive and Tape Industry.
The conference will release the 2025 market analysis report of China's adhesive and tape industry, and provide in-depth interpretation of industrial upgrading paths and prospects for high-quality development of the industry. The conference will specially invite industry experts and representative enterprises from home and abroad to comprehensively share technology trends, market patterns, policies and regulations, and green sustainable development in the bonding materials field.
2. This conference will have five parallel tracks: "Development and Application of High-Performance Adhesives Track, Industry Innovation Technology Research Track, Adhesive Technology and Research for Consumer Electronics Track, PSA and Product Technology and Research Track, and Adhesive Technology and Research for New Energy Vehicles Track". The main contents include the following:
⑴Promoting technology iteration and upgrading across the entire industry chain, concentrating on the display of new materials, advanced processes and cutting-edge R&D achievements, smoothing the channels for industrialization of scientific and technological achievements, and continuously enhancing the core competitiveness of the industry.
⑵Focusing on high-growth hot tracks such as consumer electronics, new energy vehicles, healthcare, and industrial manufacturing, seizing development opportunities in cutting-edge emerging fields such as humanoid robots and low-altitude economy, systematically reviewing the industrial development trends of each track, and deeply exploring incremental market space and innovative application scenarios.
⑶Focusing on the supporting needs of high-tech manufacturing, discussing the R&D paths for differentiated and functional bonding materials in subdivided fields, enriching the supply of high value-added products, and accelerating the domestic substitution process of key bonding materials.
⑷Consolidating the foundation of supply chain security and stability in the industry chain, analyzing the supply and demand patterns, technology R&D and market development prospects of key raw and auxiliary materials, sharing precision coating, automated production and other equipment, and relying on intelligent manufacturing to achieve full-process quality and efficiency improvement.
⑸Benchmarking against the “Dual Carbon” goals and green manufacturing requirements, conducting special discussions on environmentally friendly adhesive products such as solvent-free, radiation-curing, water-based, hot melt, and biodegradable types, and exploring low-carbon formulation processes and sustainable development paths.
⑹Building an integrated industry-academia-research collaborative docking platform, linking universities, research institutes and upstream and downstream enterprises to jointly tackle key technical problems in the industry, continuously strengthening the independent innovation capability of China's adhesive industry, and promoting the steady and high-quality development of the industry.
3. Technical exchange and information release by annual conference cooperation and supporting enterprises.
II. Date and Venue
1. Registration: 9:00-22:00 on September 2, 2026.
2. Venue: Jeurong Hotel Shanghai. Address: No.80 Minhong Road, Minhang District, Shanghai, China. Phone: 021-33599999. The hotel is about 16 km away from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, and about 5 km from Shanghainan Railway Station. The conference does not arrange pick-up station/airport service.
3. Conference: September 3-4, 2026 (two days).
III. Fees
1. Accommodations (at one's own expense):Jeurong Hotel Shanghai, 780 RMB/day for deluxe king-size/twin beds room (including 1-2 breakfasts). As the request of the hotel, to ensure the accommodation needs of the participants, the accommodation fees shall be collected uniformly by the association. The deadline for reservation and payment is August 21, 2026. Participants who have not paid the accommodation fees after August 21, 2026 will no longer be applicable for the group accommodation price.
2. Conference registration: The registration fee includes admission to all conference sessions, conference materials, all scheduled meals, and coffee breaks.
CATIA Members: RMB 3200 per person; Non-members: RMB 3600 per person
Student/Professor: RMB 2000 per person
(Three or more participants of each non-member company can be entitled to the member's registration price.)
IV. Proceedings of Conference
The Proceedings of the 29th Adhesive and Tape Annual Conference will be edited and published. Welcome papers from experts and companies concerned. (Please contact the conference organizer for details).
V. Participants could register in advance via email, fax and short message to make sure your accommodation and relevant arrangement. We also accept on-the-spot registration but with no guaranty of accommodation.
